Golden yellow with huge streaky red eye and chartreuse throat. , USDA Hardiness Zone 3, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW29, In Garden Bed S1 for 25 MONTHS (Bachman). Planted in 2020.

AHS: Lester Leaps In (Bachman, 2014)
height 45 in.(114 cm), bloom 7 in.(18 cm), season M, Semi-Evergreen, Diploid, 28 buds, 3 branches, Unusual Form Crispate, Golden yellow with huge streaky red eye and chartreuse throat. (Belly Button Slipknots × Apple Swirl)

Bachman: LESTER LEAPS IN (Bachman 2014) 45" 7" M SEV Dip 3 way 28 buds. This is in honor of a great tenor sax man Lester Young who fronted the Count Basie Band when this was recorded in 1939. It has been a jazz standard ever since. LESTER LEAPS IN has huge streaky red eye inside golden yellow petals with a chartreuse throat. This crispate is fertile both ways.
