MySecretIslandGarden said: @joannakat I had a leopard frog by my koi pond, it was beautiful almost emerald green, but something ate it. The majority of the frogs in my garden are tree frogs ... like the one in the birdhouse. Adult tree frogs eat flies, ants, crickets, beetles, moths and other small invertebrates. The tadpoles are mostly herbivores. So baby birds and eggs are safe from them. Also, nesting season ended in July here so all is well. In fact, the new crew here are starting to get their adult colors. They seem to be camera shy though!

Hopefully that's not the Cuban tree frog, they are becoming the dominant frog in suburban gardens. I can't see the toe pads, but those bulging bug eyes make me think it's the invasive Cuban frog. Sadly they eat the native green tree frogs. They're the only frog I ever see in my garden anymore, they get 2.5 to 5 inches long. This might help you ID them.
