Question?
Is the Stigma in three sections? If so, does pollen have to get into each section for the cross to take? If this is true, could you put more than one pollen one a stigma? Now, I'm really thinking out in left field, that's me folks, I think too much
I just went to the AHS and looked at their description. They have a picture of the microscope view of the stigmatic hairs on a stigma that accept the pollen. I had no idea, not a clue about this!!!!! Very interesting but this brings about more questions??? Do the hairs pull the pollen into each section or is this done at one instance and doesn't matter where the pollen is put on the stigma?? I'm sure I have more questions but I'm so darned tired and thats "tie--ard" that I'm not getting anymore at this time. But I'd bet when I get answeres, I'll have more questions
