I thought I would post pics of what will likely be the last lily seedlings I will ever have. I have been looking for 2 years now for someplace in WA suitable to move to and the only 2 I've found will not wait for me to sell my house, they all want cash now. It is very overpopulated and extremely expensive here and finding usable ground away from busy roads is nearly impossible, anyone with an acre of brush covered cliff thinks they are selling paradise.
I only have a handful of lilies that I bred left and several commercial varieties, but hardly worth the trouble since the noise level has gotten even worse. The Chinese Illegal Cannabis Cartel has moved into the huge house next to the evil christians that tortured me out of business and since they are such good friends they added more noise to the hellhole this already was.
If I do list anything they will be on my regular site : growingcrazy.ecrater.com I closed down the buggycrazy one that was just for lilies last year.
The weather was terrible this "spring" and most of my hybrids and other special lilies I potted in hopes of moving rotted and/or died. It was the worst spring ever, wettest on record and very cold. But my best hybrid (so far), the white Western American one did OK and even bloomed.
Some of the OT hybrids like the Satisfaction ones went to the very small fenced landscape bed in part shade and the colors were so much better I would like to keep a couple of those.
I also lost the last of my seedlings from Fusion X Western American Hybrids. I have now lost all the seedlings I started after moving here, before the devil's spawn from hell moved in. I have bred nothing since. I have started nothing since.
The growing season here is short, but it is lethal in Spokane, so many of the oriental seedlings took this long to reach bloom size and unfortunately for me I like several of them even though I have no where to move.
So these are quite likely the last lilies I will ever make. I had a couple of new American Hybrids I liked, big blooms, one ruby tipped, one magenta tipped. The American Hybrids in pots do not like being wet and most died, these were leftovers in the field that did not bloom until now.
