Thanks, everyone, for the nice, warm welcome! I currently have 3 gardens in various stages of completion. It's kind of expensive to buy the miniature plants, so I've been experimenting with splitting them into halves or thirds to get more mileage out of them. And I started some Kyoto Moss on a growing medium (~6 x 12") about a week ago, so I'm waiting for it to "take". The newest garden is contained in a cheap $15 plastic bird bath, so it won't need a table to be by the window.

I love the pictures, williamffox! Thanks for sharing.

Do folks on this forum share ideas? I can upload the images of how they look so far, if that's what's done here.

What do you do with your completed gardens? I'm never going to be able to keep them all, and only know so many that would like one as a gift.
