The squirrels will eventually figure out how to pry open the NONO feeder mesh a little wider. Or they'll realize that if they make it swing, seeds will drop out the sides of it. At least the GA squirrels figured that out. So I use my NONO feeder *far* away from the other bird feeders, and the squirrels go after it and leave the others alone. My primary feeders have a wire cage on springs -- when a squirrel jumps onto it, the springs lower the cage and little decorative metal leaves cover the ports. These have been the best-working ones for me for almost 10 years now. It takes the squirrels a lot longer to figure out a work-around (I don't think anything is totally squirrel proof).
I get titmice, nuthatches, cardinals, woodpeckers, goldfinches, chikadees, sparrows and more at my feeder, and doves, towhees, and chipmunks underneath it to collect the spillage. And that's just the one on my porch. I have no idea what all goes to the other ones scattered around.
