This is my favorite wild plant. I finally grew it on purpose and am harvesting seeds daily. At the moment I have nearly 100. Just now I squished a pod and out came, not the usual four, but six!! Has anyone else ever encountered this?
What do you suppose the reason for this aberration? We had a drought here this summer and I never once watered these plants, as my well was low and I had to save the H2O for my large veggie garden. Might that be the cause?
