Somehow, even though she was a city woman with a city garden, I often picture my grandma when I read stories about your Ninna. Grandma wouldn't have bothered to clean the oven, though---she'd have just wrapped up the snake in the foil and put down a new piece....she loved to garden and cook, but housekeeping was not her strong point!
