Lorn really has the right approach. Flowers by themselves do not make a good cultivar, and of course, we all show the best photos we take that emphasize the best of the flowers. I really would hate to see the Lilium trade become like hostas, where differences between cultivars can be large genetically speaking, but miniscule in the big picture. It's bad enough already!
That said, from what I see there are some very lovely, and quite possibly excellent hybrids that Lorn has made.
