It's almost a miracle if they do come true from seed. I think the figure is 1 chance in 200, so we can safely say they don't.

They actually bloom in winter too in the zones where they're supposed to be grown (9-11) and if they're grown as houseplants, but I hesitated to include winter in the general list, although I did include it in the data for some that are known to bloom year-round.

So go ahead and leap.

But actually, I just thought of something else that should be done on the parent entry for Hibiscus (not Tropical Hibiscus). It currently says they can live in 1-gallon containers and that seems silly. Can that be removed from the Hibiscus parent entry?
