Baja California is new and is just blooming for me. My cats broke of the first scape it put up in May, so these are rebloom scapes now. I was sort of disappointed that it does not have the hot, spicy colors shows in the Watermill Catalog. It's still a very pretty flower, just not what I was expecting.

I am so thankful for the rain we are getting this week. Since it was starting to look like a desert around here, it was very welcome. We had rain overnight, early this morning, and then, again, later in the morning.

Here's one from yesterday, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, a new late bloomer by Judy Davisson. The blooms are gigantic and make a big splash in the late season garden.
