My dear friend and work colleague just got over COVID.. she and her husband were fully vaccinated (COVID.) Her son, his wife and their three girls were not .. Her husband, son, his wife, one daughter (Age 11) got sick.. then she got the flu right after ..she said that was worse ... stomach symptoms particularly bad.. so bad she had no bowel control NOW she says the doc working her up for pneumonia. ( likely post flu.) ..she told me it has been 6-7 weeks of hell. She was a smoker ..but quit 20 years ago. I asked her which was worse for her ..she said the flu was the worst. I neglected to ask her if she had the flu vaccine since she has been sick during what would be her prime flu inoculation period.
