We have Costco close ..but I am not fond of their chickens ..my husband liked due to size ..and price .. I found fatty and salty
I like the skinny kinds from our CoOp ..organic.. no pumping of fluids ..nit bug snd 6.99 -7.99 but taste is good

I still say Costco has the best Italian sweet sausage.. no awful fennel

I am about to stuff peppers..just sausage and rice
It's grey and chilly here but none of the awful weather that Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas getting ..I sure hope no further injury to folks there.

I am fixing a lasagna for Christmas dinner at daughters house and stuffing mushrooms .. I know some of you will cringe..but I found pigs tails and those will make a fine fine tomato sauce. I have to make the dreaded deviled eggs too.. they never let me get away with doing those and I alway worry about the peeling .
I am making struffoli and biscotti ( Choco Chip and chocolate and a vanilla with cashew, cranberry and pistachio ) and molasses cookies with the three girls. I am doing my best to keep traditions and make festive for the kids.. we are all feeling not so merry. As you know my guy passed away unexpectedly end September and just two days ago my daughters father her in law passed. It was also unexpected although his lifestyle was not healthy .. He and his wife are "snowbirds" from Pennsylvania to Florida and were in Florida when he passed suddenly. My two sets of grandchildren have lost a either grandmother and grandfather or two grandfathers in just 4 month spread of time. I am glad that children are resilient and accepting. They are involved in Christmas activities in school and church and being able to do that this year as compared to the isolation from last year's pandemic that kept them from school and friends and holiday festivities is a blessing. They keep us "grownups" going!
Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
