Morning friends!

The plows up and down the street and a grumbling. I haven't looked out but when I went to bed we had about 7" and were and are to get up to 6" through today. Schools on, kid2 has his concert. We are heading over for that later today and of course the FFA fruit to pickup for delivery.

I can't wait for the FFA oranges! Always a beautiful box of fruit.

As for dahlias … I'm ready to start! Hah. My house isn't cleaned where I can turn my focus to the flowers only. Maybe one of these fine days.

Happy day to you all!
Summer, after all, is a time when wonderful things can happen to quiet people. For those few months, you're not required to be who everyone thinks you are, and that cut-grass smell in the air and the chance to dive into the deep end of a pool give you a courage you don't have the rest of the year. You can be grateful and easy, with no eyes on you, and no past. Summer just opens the door and lets you out. – Deb Caletti: Honey, Baby, Sweetheart
