It was 8 degrees here when I asked Alexa .. it was about 7:30. I worried about the cardinal family as the female wakes me each morning at about 6 am .. but soon after I got up and moved around.. she came a banging on the window ..and brought her mate ! A welcome Christmas gift.
The wind blew fierce yesterday .. not so much today.
Heading out to dinner with my son and his family
Dinner tomorrow at my daughters... I baked for both their meals ..no more cooking this week! ! The struffoli came out fine and Sophia made a great pumpkin bread and whipped me up a batch of Bones of the Dead cookies .. we used to eat those growing up in Brooklyn..all souls day. Impossible to find now.
This weather had me thinking of the knit hats of yesteryear ..with the big plastic sequins ..60-70's.. look familiar to some of you gals?
