Thanks again Monica, yes that looks just like it. I see that another name is Musa Mexicana so it's right at home here Hilarious! Now that I have a name I did some reading and it can be invasive. I think I can control it where it is, let's hope. Some say you can even eat the fruit, the place I bought it said no, that it was only ornamental. I have plenty of banana fruit now, I don't really need any more. My freezer is always full and I pester my friends when a bunch is ripening. I'm going to get it in the ground this weekend and put the musseanda behind it. Neither of them are attractive at the base but I'm hoping the musseanda will flop around the base of the musa and it will all blend.

You're a gem for identifying these for me, thank you.
