I store mine dry in the fridge all winter. I put them in paper envelopes. I use up all the postage paid return envelopes I get from all the junk mail offers I get Sticking tongue out They are free. Then in the spring I just straight sow them into my seed bed in rows. I do it this way since if I started them in trays inside the Kitties would think they were salad Hilarious! Most of the time I have good germination. This year I got them in late due to the crazy wet cool April we had. Poor germination since it was too cool and wet. That or they rotted in the ground due to the cool/wet. Some Years I plant a few more in Early-mid July. I haven't yet this year since it has been so bloody hot and dry. If We start getting more rain I may just plant a bunch more.
It's my cats world, I'm just here to open the cans.
