So I think I figured out why my MG are getting whatever that is. Sometimes I mist them from above like rain and possibly it's too hot with the lights on them and they are trying to take in the water- it definitely has to do with growing under artificial conditions but thankfully it doesn't seem to kill the plants. I'll try to water only in the soil from now on. It's only plants in the Convolvulaceae family that are getting it-

I was in the specialty grocer yesterday and they had passion fruit again so I grabbed 2. I grew out a lot of plants from the fresh seeds last summer!

Ipomoea sepacuitensis, ipomoea carnea ssp fistulosa and ipomoea pes-tigridis seeds. I put the sepacuitensis back in damp paper towels because the cotyledons seem to have a hard time emerging. The pes-tigridis I'm going to pot up today.
