I'll try and see if I have some other ideas on this topic. I do like using the flash at night but I don't think I get a very true representation of the real flower color that way. That is very important to me.

I take MANY pictures in the early morning (being a morning person Smiling ) and am also grateful for an occasional cloudy day for photography purposes. However, again, I find I get the truest color just before dark.
