I'm certified plant professional with over 30 years of experience with plants and over 20 years of experience working with cacti.
I grow aquatic plants, Capsicum, various cacti, houseplants, succulents, vegetables, berries, fruit trees, grapes, native plants and more. I particularly love growing Ipomoea.
I am skilled with extensive experience in plant ID and aspects of botany and plant anatomy.
I have an educational background in Vascular Plant Taxonomy, Proteomics, Genomics and Bioiformatics, Botany, Plant Anatomy and more as well as decades of hands on experience with plants in both professional and casual settings.
I have several other hobbies and topics of study, too numerous to list here, but I keep up to date in regards to several areas of plant research and study and related fields like studies of endophytic symbiosis.
I am particularly interested in the subject of plant evolution and symbiosis but I grow plants because I find them as beautiful as I do interesting.
