Well, the one good thing about my garden being so shabby this year is that I won't be so hesitant to rip things out come fall! A lot of my problem this year is that I didn't do a good cleanup last fall because I just couldn't bring myself to strip things out; it all looked so nice......and then everything froze. Oops.
