Margaret..I don't think olive oil tastes like olives. I once tasted a greenish one ? Pompeian brand?L That DID taste like olives. If I taste a bread with rosemary in it or thyme or sage.. bleh..and I can't abide sourdough. But I know I am in the minority ..you should try some onion powder. ..maybe dried tomato?
I stuffed peppers .. one of my go to's ...no meat..just rice mozzarella and sharp cheddar cheese .. . Sautéed mushrooms and largely chopped shallots ..( and about a quarter cup of thousand island dressing ) those peppers were GREAT!! What a Surprise !
