Glad this popped up for my random article this morning. Thumbs up

"adapted to your region" is also a good point! Half the plants in the "native" section of one local nursery are native to, say, the high prairie. Some of them will melt in our summer humidity!

I have some straight natives and plenty of varieties derived from native plants. Some say hybrids and varieties aren't as good for wildlife, but the wildlife in my yard seems to like the nectar, berries, seeds etc. just fine.
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
