Well this is going to become the All things Mammillaria and Cochemiea chat pretty soon ... the Catalogue of Life has caught up with changes based on DNA, and dozens of plants have changed names, which means they will change names in our database as well.

The resurrected Cochemiea should contain almost all of the hooked-spine plants, so check your spines and you'll know the genus, easy peasy.
