With a large collection of miniature and small daylilies ( and having grown daylilies for many years) I've become ruthless about culling those plants that don't thrive in this climate on the edge of zones 6/7. Sadly, some plants hybridized in the Deep South have proven tender and are gone. This one, happily, has proven to be one of Grace's more hardy ones from her last years at Floyd Cove. I saw it as a seedling there just before the nursery sold, and am happy that it grows well here. Or at least it has for several winters. We had several 5 degree nights this past December that will prove hardiness of all plants here during the next season. So far so good! It DOES rebloom here, and rebloom often looks better than initial bloom.
