It's not just in the north that it takes plants a while to get settled. I grow in boxes just like those at Kinnebrews (they showed us how to do them). I've had Going Green (Floyd Cove) for three years this fall. Short, low budcount, unattractive. That one's on the list to leave the garden this fall. It must have known, because on rebloom (first time it's rebloomed for me) blooms are lovely--softly green, big, and beautiful. Go figure. I took it off the list and will leave it where it is. Usually plants don't take this long to get established. Good thing, too.
