I just purchased the daylily LONDON TOWER through the Daylily Store in the Lily auction, and everything I looked at (including the AHS registration) indicated it is a tetraploid, but when I went into the hybridizer Frank Smith's website to see what he had written about it, he listed it as a diploid. Does anyone know for sure? I would hate to try making crosses with it next year if it's really a dip, and I will just plant it in the garden rather than keeping it in a pot if it's a dip.
