Hello everyone Hurray! ,

I'm Praharsha , and I'm thrilled to join this forum! I'm new to gardening and have recently started growing roses as a hobby Smiling . I don't have any experience with gardening before, but I would love to learn new skills to keep my plants healthy and blooming.

I currently have a few rose plants in my garden, but I don't even know their varieties *Blush* *Blush* . I'm hoping to learn more about identifying different types of roses and picking out new varieties to add to my collection. I'm currently experiencing some troubles with them, including mealybugs , yellow leaves and few more . I will be posting a separate thread to ask for advice on how to deal with these issues

I'm from Sri Lanka, and I'm quite familiar with the climate and soil conditions unique to South Asia. I'm happy to share any tips or advice I have on growing plants in this region. Sri Lanka is home to a wide variety of beautiful and exotic (and toxic Grin ) native plants, many of which are used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine (btw I don't recommend Ayurvedic medicine Thumbs down they are painful). I'm looking forward to learning more about them and sharing my experiences with you. Big Grin nodding

Finally, I'm excited to be a part of this community and connect with all of you guys . I spend a lot of time indoors and don't get to enjoy outdoor work as much as I'd like, so I hope gardening would be a great way for me to reduce stress and have a fun. nodding Angel

I'm looking forward to learning from your experiences and insights, and to offer any help or advice I can. ❤️ Thank you all

Thank You!
