Interesting glimpse at different Hipps growth patterns- a single bloom stock (4 very large blossoms) vs. multiple bloom stock (8 smaller blossoms-one week longer bloom period.)

Hippeastrum 'clown'
Care, soil, fertilizer and bulb size all exactly identical between both pots.
Same bulb variety from same company. And I assume the bulbs are clones (asexual reproduction) so they have the same DNA.

Interesting.
And I'm not sure which I would prefer if I could choose between them.
