Change of plans.... Bella not well so Emme remained home..I just made a strawberry dump cake ( angelfood ) for bella .. .She didn't help ..I sat with her and watched ET ..but then she started coughing ... I got out a n95 ..but it was too confining .. those have to fit tight .. so I left her confined and made the cake. 1/2 of 21 county school bus drivers out with COVID .. My grandkids lost 3 grandparents in the space of 90 days .. I am last man standing and so trying to be real careful .. I turned what was planned as a broccoli pasta with linguini and fresh tomato into a chicken broccoli soup ( added some tiny alphabet pasta ) lots of garlic .. Bella asked for two bowls .. the kid loves soup.. she had the chills (no fever ) so it helped warm her up.. .. .. then I gave her the strawberry dump cake and a generous scoop of chocolate ice cream ... .. later she had a square of the sausage mushroom pizza I made the other day ... feed a cold right?
