I've grown RUBY STORM in my Zone 5 garden for many years, to the point of it needing division. Responds well after division. I typically mulch in the Spring, so it survives my winters with little protection. Colors are clean. Consistent bloomer. Blooms are above the foliage. Good all around plant for the northern garden.
