Shirlee, Hyperion is so old that it wouldn't take much to get something better! It's a very simple yellow bloom, but I think it smells better than most other daylilies, which was my only reason for using it. The baby is prettier and smells even better, so I guess I accomplished something! I've got quite a few babies from it, and they are all prettier than it is, but like I said, it doesn't take much to be prettier! At least the good smell was passed along, which was my goal.
