The fish-sticks... made in the oven.. when flipped half way through ..CRUNCY and good. Well, I felt like a few for snack.. why not try the microwave ..I SHOULD have known better... or stuck around to observe. 3 minutes later.. smoke billowing from microwave ..( aren't those supposed to be tight?) and when I opened the door......Oh Boy. It came rolling out like Alien Smoke from Space... it lives!! It's been been two days.. the microwave still stinks.. and I am 3 pillar candles down ..my good ones too .. $90 .. burnt fish! Should I toss that microwave..
yesterday out with son and 2 grand girls
had flour taco.. tortilla grilled with a fresh fish, grilled pineapple and a lime, honey sweet chili sauce. Tears rolled.. the nose snotted.. the 14 year old said
"Honey, your butt is gonna burn..".
The other small taco ..flour tortilla grilled with braised beef short rib ..a coconut sauce and another sauce I can't name ( korean ) I think I tasted a bit of horseradish ..after that first taco....I am surprised I could taste anything.
the collard were to die for ..
and I had a few of the girls perfectly made crispy crispy outside ..tender insude ..french fries done up in duck fat
