Grandma's Smile performed well in my garden, but I don't think the scapes ever got 30" tall. Sometimes the blooms were splotchy. I had this one between 2009 and 2020 and it multiplied well. Sometimes the color was very saturated and showed off the ruffled, chicken fat edges. The buds were very fat and bud count was good. This is another pink daylily with yellow edge (like Ed Brown and Belle Cook) that left my garden due to preference for taller and other colored daylilies.
