I ship a lot and i can tell you some of the states have very strict laws on moving plants across state lines.....BUT i can not say what would happen with flying.

Florida,California Arizona,Texas, all have strict laws on shipping plants Not saying you cant or don't do it with out a problem most the time its not an issue unless you put on the box live plants.

great tip most the time if you rinse all the dirt off the plant that helps a lot. some say cut all foliage off.

It might be worth shipping the plants back to you then trying to carry on. you can look up on the usda.gov under import and export laws for each state, My fear would be i know Texas has strict laws for sure i have researched them, when shipping don't put anywhere on the box live plants. always tape all seams so there is no dirt come out while handling.

I know JJ ship and they should be able to tell you and maybe even ship for you or give you an inspection sticker

All the laws are set to try to not contaminate by pest or disease from one state to another.
good luck
