Nope… no roots . This was a branch cut off the side of a 25 year old tree peony. Like cutting a branch off an oak tree. The branch will send out new shoots …then ?

Never seen anything like it before. I place it 3 days ago in a planter with damp soil hoping it will grow roots.
It's the oddest thing .
