I think if my tree peony buds haven't opened by now, they won't ever this year. Two huge ones have been there over the winter. I am tempted to dig up the five tree peonies at the bottom of the garden as they aren't progressing. I could pot them up (big pots) until I can develop a good area in the garden. I don't want to lose them. I know that TP can run horrible expensive and I have paid $150 for a few of mine.
