Thank you all. Yes, that Helleborus seedling was a pleasant surprise yesterday Smiling And yes, it is nice to have seedlings that you don't have to weed. I am surprised by how well the parent plants tolerate shade. They thrive in the shade below Forsythia bushes. I'll transplant the other seedlings around the Forsythia bushes. They will take care of all weeds. It will take a couple of years, but it will be worth it. I don't remember when I noticed this little Porcelain seedling; two years ago or last year. But I suspect it takes about three years for a Helleborus orientalis to start blooming, which is a little bit better than waiting for TP seedlings to start blooming Smiling
