Went to Aldi yesterday. I walked there with a wheeled not too big bag, I thought enough for what I would need. I wanted to buy beef tongue from the Lebanese butcher about 0.6 miles from me. I looked and it was 19 minutes wait for the bus. I thought I would get it if it is still 'far' from me. I arrived at Luzmary, no bus yet, and decided I will buy their special drink, because it was very warm, and then go on to the butcher. I went in and ordered the drink, called Mogonchinche and also ordered 2 beef Saltenas for my dinner, I quickly finished the first glass, and ordered a refill. So I packed the Saltenas in my bag and hoping to see the bus. No bus, so I ended up walking to the butcher, bought the beef tongue, and 1/2 gallon salted mint yogurt drink there, and went to Aldi that is very close by. I bought my green onions, and the package of carrots were too big, so I did not purchase them, but got lemons and grapes, and found the shovel. I had to get an additional $0.99 bag to get all the stuff in and used the shovel as a walking cane. It must be quite a sight with my white hair---this time I decided to wait the 19 minutes that the bus was supposed to be there. I almost gave up after 22 minutes when I saw the welcoming sign of the moving light of the bus. So I hop on the bus, was home in 6 minutes. Hungry, and the Saltenas were still hot. Delicious! My friends told me I should not buy a car, too expensive with insurance etc. I have not decided yet.
