Dear eclayne, we do not have alligators, mosquito's or rabies in the UK. We do have a lot of castles with drawbridges and a spiked portcullis, to keep the un welcome away! Most of the castles have slots to pour boiling oil down, just to deter unwanted guests. Of course we do have older ones as well if the modern look is not up to standard. The walls are only 16 feet thick, and that is not thick enough as gunpowder was invented by the Chinese, and canons/howitzers were made to breach the walls. Then of course castles were not much use.
There is pike in the moat and they eat most things!
Neil.
