It does OK here, right on the edge of zones 6/7. But I recommend it when selling it to people in zones 7 and higher. This year, it passed a test here. We got really cold December weather ( down to 5 degrees for many hours) which doesn't happen but maybe once every 7-8 years. I had just divided it last fall. Several of the more tender minis croaked, but this one emerged unscathed. It's really cute and reblooms here. I don't see the blue that some pictures show, rather a lot of green and a triangular mascara edged eye/throat.
