the fresher the seed the better but they need to be kept at a good temp and not t moist or dry, the experts say even with old seed if they where treated correct 40-50% for OLD seed. unfortunately shipping seeds across the world they go threw extreams and that is why the seeds i have giving such low germination rates

the get in the cargo bays of airlines and become cold at 30,000 feet and then shipping trucks and containers and getting well over 100 deg so if you can have fresh from here 98% is not uncommon.
