Hello - I want to add plicatas to my garden, but I am looking for specific traits. I was hoping people could chime in on their favorites. Any height classification, although SDB are my least liked. Firstly, I am really interested in bud count and scape strength. I love the look of most plicata colors and patterns I've seen photos of, but I really love the look of an iris with both white or near white standards and falls with plicata edges. I don't care if the pigment in the edges is pale or dark, but there is just something dramatic-looking to me when the standards are patterned too. Historics or new intros, I don't care - I'm really wanting a punch of contrast in the iris beds. Thanks! I hope I will see a bunch of photos Thank You!
Give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above. Don't fence me in.
