Mantis, I found Bartzella is not a performer for me after many years and quite a few divisions. I am still trying, but have not seen 40+ blooms that some people are raving about. On the other hand I am happy with Morning Lilac performances which many are complaining about. I guess particular division, climate and soil make a difference.
