Hello and thank you for the lovely comments. Registering my yellow iris has been a learning experience! Naming her to start with! The database kept rejecting my name choices - so many irises are already using words that I associate with this iris. Finally, late last night I came up with a name that hasn't been rejected...yet. I think it may be safe to call her
SUNCOMET.
Sun, for her color, and those white lines extending from the white beards remind me of speeding comets. I'm not done with the whole process yet.
