I got a bunch of "free" mulch last fall and was so excited... then this year to my dismay I realized it really wasnt "free" at all......... it was full of crabgrass seeds which of course have gone crazy in my daylily garden! I am down on my hands and knees with a 6 gallon buck pulling that crab grass out. I alswyas have to take a double take to make sure I dont have hold of a Daylily before I give a final yank.
Pulled one out so big yesterday that it pulled up the "weed cloth" and I went flying backwards into the brid feeder when it finally let loose!
