Yes, Charleen, fertilizer and sunshine. If your plants aren't in direct sun, move them slowly, one hour at noon the first day, two hours of noonday sun the next day, then maybe five hours, then full sun.

When they're actively growing new leaves, they can handle generous watering and feeding.

I've bought several Adeniums for the caudex. This one grew on me, one of JT's plants! It's in a plastic pot saucer with just gravel and a tiny biy of compost. Lots of drain holes.
