I do agree with all the comments about the virtues of this plant as a reliable ground cover. I used to grow it around the base of a Norway maple, where grass refused to grow, what with the tree's deep shade, and it's water-hogging shallow roots.

Oh wow! Here Pink Vinca is everywhere And they are the most resilient. I had purchased different colors and they are pretty for one season and they don't come back. My friend who is a GM of a restaurant chain was so impressed of my pink vinca being dry tolerant that she had asked me for seedlings and they are doing great on her store.

I have not seen blue or purple here. I've had maroon, peach and white but they all died and did not re-seed.
