Six years later, Ed Brown is still here. It has gone from 4 fans to the grand total of 7 now. It was up to 9 last fall, but a harsher winter than n ormal cut it back. I am reading it is prone to crown rot. Odd that it is still here because my garden wins prizes in the amount of crown rot my plants get. Wish I knew why. The flowers are always pretty, even this year when I have a lot of deformed ones, probably due to the winter I just mentioned. Dependable bloomer, sometimes reblooms. It will be one that will leave my garden at some point, just because the flowers don't wow me any more.
