NEILMUIR1 said:Dear Vickie, the definition of a weed is a plant growing in the wrong place! Dandelion roots were found to be good and indeed still are used to make ersatz coffee during the second world war! It is in fact nice and rather good for you. Dandelions leaves are also nice in salad. Plantain roots are edible.
There is a cure for everything in plants if only they would look, instead of man made drugs!
Regards.
Neil.

Neil, Thanks for the reminder about weeds being plants growing in the wrong place. I have heard that before, but had forgotten. I agree that we probably need look no further than our own backyard for a lot of cures for what ails us.

I agree
May all your weeds be wildflowers. ~Author Unknown
